Hello Division 2 Students and Families,<\/p>\n

I know this wasn\u2019t how any of us planned to spend our break, it took me a while to be okay with cancelling my plans and adjusting to the new normal.\u00a0 I hope you still had a restful and enjoyable two weeks.\u00a0 Spring Break has officially come to an end, and as you probably know by now, returning to school is going to look a little bit different this year due to COVID-19 physical distancing restraints.<\/p>\n

We are working from home for the foreseeable future!<\/b><\/p>\n

Yes!\u00a0 We are still doing school, it’s just going to look very different.\u00a0 Every day can be PJ day! I know someone is happy about that ;). What this means is we will transition our school time to an online learning system.\u00a0 What is that going to look like? We don\u2019t have all the details yet.\u00a0 Please remember that this is new for everyone and that myself, Ms. Baird, Ms. Carson, and the rest of the school district don\u2019t have all the answers just yet.\u00a0 What I do know is that our learning is going to continue, it will just have to look a little bit different for awhile.\u00a0 I am here to support you and your learning and when I am given new information I will pass it on to you as soon as I’m able.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what I need from you:<\/p>\n

Please take this week to create a new routine for yourself.\u00a0 I know my routine looks very different today than it did 3 weeks ago.\u00a0 That’s fine, just make sure you have a routine that works for you! Maybe you walk your dog “before school” instead of “after school”.\u00a0 Maybe you sleep a little later, maybe you don’t.\u00a0 This is one of the silver linings to this whole situation.\u00a0 Not everyone functions at their best at the same times, this means you can find a schedule that works best for you and maximize your potential during this time! I will not be sending out activities or assignments this week.\u00a0 The school district has created a Continuing Learning Website<\/strong> that should be going live soon, please keep an eye on http:\/\/burnabyschools.ca\/<\/strong> for the website and explore the activities for your grade level.<\/p>\n
