Today, we started off with FSA practice on the iPads. Students will be writing the FSA actual assessment in the upcoming weeks and today was just a practice to get used to the online system. We did Literacy today to practice and I was really proud of how the students were able to follow the instructions very clearly to set up the iPads to access the online system.<\/p>\n
After, we had recess and then we worked on our Tuesday part of the Paragraph of the week. Students needed to write three details about a skill that they have learned. This page is homework if not done after the time given in class.<\/p>\n
Then, students coloured where Canada is on the World Map and worked in pairs to use iPads to colour in the different physical regions on the Map of Canada.<\/p>\n
Just another reminder that the provinces\/territories quiz and capital cities matching is on Thursday this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n After lunch, students learned about filling in the missing variable in Math equations e.g. 8 + ___ = 15 and explaining how they figured out the missing number. Then, they were tasked with pages 20-21 #2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10 a.
