Today, my new students arrived and we did some introductory games, some All About Me writing, and guessing about their new teacher \ud83d\ude0a We also made name tags, birthday candles, and went over some rules and expectations for the year.<\/p>\n
Three forms went home today, but only 2 need to be returned (you can keep the parent letter). Please return as soon as possible so I can file them for my records.<\/p>\n
For school supplies:<\/p>\n
-the only additional item students need is a grid notebook for math (these can be bought at Walmart or the dollar store for $1 or under)<\/p>\n
-students are recommended to have lined notebooks for each subject if they have had trouble with organization in the past<\/p>\n
-Materials that students will not need this year from the supply list: gym clothes, binders, dividers and tissue boxes<\/p>\n
-Whiteboard markers should be labelled with your child\u2019s name on it to avoid confusion<\/p>\n
