Hi Everyone,<\/p>\n
Today, we started off with our spelling test. I marked them during lunchtime and handed them back already and will be posting them on Fresh Grade later tonight.<\/p>\n
After that, we worked on multiplying by 10’s, 100’s, and 1000’s as the Grade 5 lesson and using patterns in multiplication for Grade 4’s. The textbook work is:<\/p>\n
Grade 4: pages 92, 93\u00a0 #1-7<\/p>\n
Grade 5: pages 82 & 83 #1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 10-12<\/p>\n
It is homework if it is not done.<\/p>\n
Then, we had snack and went out for DPA. After that, we had library and then we reviewed French numbers from 1-10 and learned 11-20. We practiced saying them aloud and then we played Bingo, where I said the number in French and students had to use counters to mark off their BINGO card. It was a lot of fun! Then, they had 20 minutes to work on their drama skits, which we are presenting on Monday.<\/p>\n
After lunch, we read and then did our Daily 5 activities. At the very end of the day, Ms. Peddie came in and the students learned about thesauruses and how to look up “tired” words and replace them with more exciting words, in order to make their writing more interesting \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
