Just a reminder that there is no school tomorrow because of Remembrance Day. Library will be on Thursday as will be our spelling test!<\/p>\n
Today, we started off just reading a couple of very deep chapters of “Wonder,” which were also quite sad. Then, we got into our Math Lesson: Grade 4’s were practicing multiplying by 1’s, 2’s, and 0’s and Grade 5’s were practicing halving and doubling factors in order to make related multiplication facts.<\/p>\n
The homework is:Grade 4’s: pages 88-89 #1-4, 6-9 and Grade 5’s: pages 78-79 #1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 11 – it is due on Thursday if not done.<\/p>\n
After that, the kids had snack, Music, and then we had a Remembrance Day Assembly. Our picture of our poetry was included in the assembly \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Then, we went outside for DPA.<\/p>\n
After lunch, Mr. Anderson came in to do a lesson on friendship and how to be a good friend. The kids came up with good ideas.<\/p>\n
At the very end of the day, we worked on illustrating our expanded sentences and if they were done, they worked on their embroidery.<\/p>\n
