Hi Everyone,<\/p>\n
Today, we started off with reading and doing a desk clean-up as I found that a lot of the students’ desks had papers that weren’t in folders. After that, I went over the Math homework. They will be having a test on Chapter 2 of the textbook on Monday, November 2nd. Then, I gave the students a Math game to do with a partner in order to practice rounding. The students rolled the dice and had to basically get a bingo by making a number that rounded to that nearest thousand in the box.<\/p>\n
Then, the students had snack and went to Music. After Music, we did a Mad Libs and then the kids went outside for DPA and practiced their Drama skits.<\/p>\n
After lunch, they had time to work on their Social Studies project, which is due tomorrow. They have had a lot of time to work on it in class, so they should be well on their way.<\/p>\n
After recess, we did a worksheet together as a class on verb tenses and differentiating present and past tense. Then, we read a bit\u00a0 of “Wonder” and analyzed character traits that matched a particular character and backed it up\u00a0 with proof from the book.<\/p>\n
The spelling test is also on Thursday.<\/p>\n
