Dear Parents,<\/p>\n
Happy Friday! \ud83d\ude42 Today, we started off with asking if there were any questions on the Math homework. Then, Grade 5’s worked\u00a0 on the rest of the questions from the Math textbook lesson yesterday and I worked with the Grade 4’s on modelling adding three-digit numbers.<\/p>\n
The homework is:<\/p>\n
Grade 4’s: page 53 #1-4, 6-9<\/p>\n
Grade 5’s: page 52 #10-13<\/p>\n
Then, the students went to Music and we stayed inside for DPA because it was wet outside and raining.<\/p>\n
After that, we worked on differentiating between present tense and past tense by working on a grammar worksheet and taking it up.<\/p>\n
Then, we had Gym and played a few different running games before lunch.<\/p>\n
After lunch, we read more of “Wonder” and made connections between ourselves and the chapters of the story we read today.<\/p>\n
At the end of the day, we had community time. The weekend journal due Monday is:\u00a0Do you believe in aliens? Why or why not? If there are aliens,\u00a0 what do\u00a0 you think they look like?
