I really really appreciate it &#8211; you made today so seamless with transportation, helping the kids, and supervising them with me \ud83d\ude42 THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I had so much fun and the kids enjoyed it so much, there were countless smiles and a lot of laughter all around!<\/p>\n<p>When we came back, the students had snack and worked on reading and highlighting about the Grasslands Biome and then drawing\/writing about it in their biome pamphlet.\u00a0<strong>It is homework if it is not done.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After lunch we worked on writing a letter to another teacher at the school to practice our letter writing. The weekend journal prompt is directly related to our letter writing process. The students are tasked with writing a letter to me with the date and address at the top right hand side, greeting (Dear Ms. Wilks,), body (information and details conveyed in the letter), and a salutation at the end (Sincerely\/From\/Love, Their Name). They can also write a P.S. (post-script) at the end to add any last finishing thoughts.\u00a0<strong>This is due Monday!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of the day we had community time with the other classes.<\/p>\n<p>The pancake breakfast &amp; pajama day are next Wednesday, December 11th.
