Dear Parents,<\/p>\n
Today, we started off with students handing in their rough copies of their Persuasive Writing and then I gave students a Pop Quiz on Fractions. Students are encouraged to review their pop quizzes and practice over the March Break. I have put some practice games for fractions as well as our upcoming second half of the unit on decimals up on the blog at: https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/wilksm\/march-break-math-practice-long-division-double-by-single-division-multiplication\/<\/a><\/p>\n The pop quizzes are now marked and posted on Fresh Grade and students have their hard copies as well.<\/p>\n After, students had Music, then snack. Then, they practiced typing up their corrected Weekend Journals from last week: Ms. Wilks stories. I found them so funny, that I had them print them off and I am going to make them into a little book. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Following lunch, students continued typing or they worked on their Optical Illusion Art. Then, we went to Ms. Lyon’s class to view their video production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Finally, we had DPA, and then did some Moon Phase review and drawings.<\/p>\n Reminder: Bring a grocery bag for desk items tomorrow.
