This week we’ll be learning more about the cedar tree ~ the “tree of life”! Indigenous people used each part of this incredible tree – roots, bark, wood, and branches – to make canoes, Bighouses, totem poles, storage and cooking boxes, baskets, mats, clothing and cedar bark regalia…making life much easier for their communities.<\/span><\/p>\n
