Div. 15 has been learning about matter:<\/em><\/p>\n

“Something that takes up space.” ~Hailey<\/p>\n

“It has weight.” ~Ved<\/p>\n

Students have been identifying different types of matter<\/em> that could fit into the category of a solid, liquid, or a gas.<\/p>\n

Some objects brought out our curiosity in discussion- Is toothpaste a solid or a liquid? What about gum?<\/p>\n

The ultimate question was… what if there was a type of matter that fits into more than one category? Does this exist?<\/p>\n

We found out that there is and that we could make it ourselves!<\/p>\n
