Science World fun!

We all braved the rain for our (second) adventure down to Science World!

Students took delight in many of the hands-on and interactive activities, challenges, installations, and simple machines through the various branches of science (biology, chemistry, and physics). There were even live animals to gaze at… an axolotl among the bunch!

During our workshop, Scientist Tim shared a wealth of information and we were excited to learn new facts relating to states of matter. We conducted a few observations and experiments of our own (e.g. lava lamp bubbles, mysterious science substances, etc.) and observed some nifty dry ice magic.

A BIG thank you to our parent volunteers who helped us supervise and walk to and from Science World smoothly and safely, particularly with the busy skytrain pedestrian traffic. We truly appreciated your help and extra eyes.
