{"id":838,"date":"2013-01-19T19:29:11","date_gmt":"2013-01-20T03:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/?p=838"},"modified":"2013-01-19T19:29:11","modified_gmt":"2013-01-20T03:29:11","slug":"pringle-comes-to-rosser","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/2013\/01\/19\/pringle-comes-to-rosser\/","title":{"rendered":"Pringle Comes to Rosser!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/files\/2013\/01\/005-Copy-6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-839\" title=\"005 - Copy (6)\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/files\/2013\/01\/005-Copy-6-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/files\/2013\/01\/005-Copy-6-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/files\/2013\/01\/005-Copy-6.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, January 14th we were thrilled to receive a very COLD package, delivered by Mrs. Ameixa, which had arrived from the South Pole!!\u00a0 You can still see some of the wet spots on the brown paper from where the ice melted!<\/p>\n<p>Inside this package was:\u00a0a novel (Mr. Popper&#8217;s Penguins); a letter from Admiral Drake (a character in the novel); a lovely little penguin named Pringle; and a Journal in which\u00a0the students can write and\u00a0share their home experiences with Pringle.\u00a0 This was a very exciting arrival for the students &#8211; and\u00a0the adults in the room, as well!<\/p>\n<p>Pringle, our class penguin, has already made home visits to the homes of: Maya A., Ateeq, Alex, and Justin.\u00a0 She is currently spending this weekend with Lyka and her family.\u00a0 When students bring Pringle back to school they share their home (and extra-curricular visits) with the rest of us through their written entries in the Journal.\u00a0 Pringle has been very busy enjoying a lot of different kinds of foods and activities!<\/p>\n<p>All students are anxiously awaiting their turn taking Pringle home.\u00a0 When she arrives in your home I am sure your family will be very welcoming.\u00a0 Enjoy the experience!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, January 14th we were thrilled to receive a very COLD package, delivered by Mrs. Ameixa, which had arrived from the South Pole!!\u00a0 You can still see some of the wet spots on the brown paper from where the ice melted!
