{"id":2666,"date":"2018-11-08T23:04:53","date_gmt":"2018-11-09T07:04:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/?p=2666"},"modified":"2018-11-08T23:04:53","modified_gmt":"2018-11-09T07:04:53","slug":"remembrance-day-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/2018\/11\/08\/remembrance-day-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Remembrance Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our school will be holding our assembly tomorrow at 10:45 a.m. &nbsp;All are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/files\/2018\/11\/ADF97FEC-0878-466E-9FA0-F85E54AB1351-e1541747041588.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-2669\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/temples\/files\/2018\/11\/ADF97FEC-0878-466E-9FA0-F85E54AB1351-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are our poppies on our bulletin in the hallway. &nbsp;The large ones were created through a directed drawing lesson. &nbsp;Once the poppies were drawn, students traced over the pencil lines with china markers. &nbsp;They then painted the red and green on the poppies. &nbsp;These dried over the weekend. &nbsp;This week we re-traced the china marker, cut them out, and glued them onto green construction paper. &nbsp;They all did a great job!<\/p>\n<p>The smaller poppies are made from four layers of coloured (red and green) construction paper. &nbsp;We did these with our big buddies on Tuesday. &nbsp;It was great to see the buddies working together! &nbsp;These small poppies are a lovely complement to the larger, painted ones. &nbsp;Check them out when you get a chance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our school will be holding our assembly tomorrow at 10:45 a.m. &nbsp;All are welcome to attend.
