Students explored a variety of topics including meteors and asteroids, the Sun, lifecycle of stars, constellations, our galaxy and the observable universe.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-391 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/suttonl\/files\/2021\/03\/download.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/suttonl\/files\/2021\/03\/download.jpg 225w, https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/suttonl\/files\/2021\/03\/download-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, we participated in NASA&#8217;s <em>Mission to Mars Student Challenge<\/em>. Students were able to design, build, launch, and land a mission on Mars, just like NASA scientists and engineers.\u00a0 Finally, on February 18, we all watched in wonder as the Perseverance rover successfully landed on Mars!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This term has been all about Space and our interconnection to the vastness of the universe.
