Policies
  1. Classroom
In this section, we make sure that during the class, everyone is respected, and they feel focused and unrestricted both at the same time.
    1. Dos
      1. Silent during silent time
      2. Respect people
      3. Contribute ideas in group conversations
      1. Stack your chair at the end of the day
      2. Keep your volume down when it’s the time to
    1. Don’ts
      1. Judge others in a rude way
      2. Talk during silent time
      3. Get distracted
    2. Consequences:
      1. Talking during silent time: Pay 15 Sturts
      2. Didn’t stack your chair: Pay 5 Sturts
The benefit of our policies:
The Dos section makes sure that it is silent during silent reading. Nobody wants to be unfairly distracted while somebody else goes around socializing with people. We want to ensure that that this learning space is a safe place with no violence, be it physical or verbal violence.
The Don’ts section assures you, again, this is a safe place to let out your feelings and ideas. B.i protects your right of being able to have an idea and not get judged in a bad way for it. B.ii allows you to focus on your reading, or activity silently.
We have agreed on the above consequences as a punishment if these policies are not being followed.
  1. Classwork
    1. Dos
      1. Stay on task
    2. Don’ts
      1. Lose work
      2. Leave work unfinished
      3. Damage work
      1. Copy others work
    1. Consequences:
      1. Pay 20 Sturts
If you lose a piece of your homework or assignment, you are responsible for copying it by hand
  1. Homework
    1. Dos
      1. Be responsible for your own work
      2. Finish work on time
      3. Hand in on due date
    2. Don’ts
      1. Lose work
      2. Leave work unfinished
      3. Damage work
    3. Consequences:
      1. Pay 20 Sturt
h class the classwork/homework helps you stay responsible for your own work. Losing your work would be your own responsibility and not having that responsibility with harm your future. It’s only fair to get a punishment and learn from your mistakes so that it will assist you in the future. This should apply to both work and homework. Finishing the work on time will make sure you at least get a mark instead of getting a zero on a
  1. Supplies
    1. Do’s
      1. Be responsible of your own supplies
      2. Be responsible for losing other’s supplies
    1. Don’ts
      1. Break or lose shared supplies
      2. Take others without permission
    2. Consequences:
      1. Break or lose shared supplies: Repay the owner of the supplies or pay $50%of your paycheck
We believe that it is okay to not have any supplies (If you can’t get any), and that borrowing from the community is also okay, but if you lose your own supplies, it is your responsibility. Be responsible for losing or breaking other people’s supplies, because their families or they might have bought the supplies. As a punishment, you must repay the owner of the supplies.
  1. Food
    1. Dos
      1. Share with others (if you want)
    2. Don’ts
      1. Make a mess
      2. Take others food without permission
    3. Consequences:
    4. Makes a mess: Clean it up and pay 15 Sturts
    5. Takes other’s food without permission: Pay 20 Sturts to the owner
This rule is for your own good, and if you want to eat in class, then you have to follow it. It’s important to not make a mess and not to take food without consent. Some people have been sharing food but straight up taking people’s food is considered as stealing. You need to have permission to take before. Making a mess will result in a 15 Sturt fine and cleaning up the mess.  This makes you responsible for cleaning up after yourself. Sharing is caring, so we make it a rule that if you want to, you can share the food, as long as there is no food containing allergies for other people.
  1. Hall rules
    1. Dos
      1. Complete silence when walking through the hall
      2. Single file
      3. The first one in line hold the door open
      4. The last one in line close the door/light (to save electricity)
      5. If someone is talking, remind them to be quiet
      6. Remember to bring back hall pass
      7. Hall pass one person at a time
    2. Don’ts
      1. Talk
      2. Running
      3. Not a single file
      4. Lose hall pass
    3. Consequences
      1. Talking: Pay 15 Sturts(each)
      2. Not single file: Pay 5 Sturts (each)
      3. Running, mess up the line: Pay 10 Sturts(each)
      4. Lose hall pass: Pay 5 Sturts and find the hall pass (each)
In the halls, you must be silent because there are other students working. This teaches you in the future that you must also respect people you don’t even know. The consequences are to teach to respect people.
  1. Test
    1. Dos
      1. Have supplies ready (If you could)
      2. Focus on your own test
    2. Don’ts
      1. Cheat
      2. Talk
    3. Consequences
      1. Cheating: Immediate 0 and 50 Sturts fine
      2. Talking: Pay 15 Sturts
Tests are things that show the teacher that you understand what he has taught you in the past days. Cheating is a big NO because it shows that you know nothing, and even if you do, you will be caught either way and it will only do you bad. Cheating is an immediate zero and 50 Sturts fine. Talking isn’t so serious, but it is a 15 Sturts fine.
  1. Jobs
    1. Dos
      1. Focus on your work
    2. Don’ts
      1. Slack at your job
      2. Make someone else do your job for you
    3. Consequences
      1. No paycheck
Jobs are an essential part of life, and you need to learn that early on. Jobs are for yourself and only yourself, so if you slack or make someone do your job, there will be no paychecks for you for the two weeks. You could also be potentially fired if this goes on continuously.
Why will all these policies be good for You?
Not only will these rules be the perfect rules for a teacher, but these will also be beneficial for you. All of these will:
A: keep the classroom from breaking out into chaos
B: Be helpful for those who need to focus.
We believe in making education fun and learning what will benefit. The following will tell you how our government will be good for you, so you feel that this class is a safe, fun and educational place. Our promises will have you feeling happy every day after school. __________________________________________________________________________
