Once again, find ourselves in the midst of giant trees and forest \u00a0beings and acknowledge where we are. \u00a0Musqueam, Tleil-Waututh, and Squamish peoples have gathered here since time immemorial and and continue to do so today. \u00a0What about the animals of this place? \u00a0What animals continue to gather? \u00a0Which animals have moved away from the cars and buildings of the city? \u00a0Where did they stay when they lived here? \u00a0Where do the animals we see and hear stay now?<\/p>\n

Sometimes, we spend time under the trees to look closely and think about these things.<\/p>\n

There are lots of ways to play with nature. \u00a0Did you know, mud makes fabulous, biodegradable paint?!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Add a little moss to make to see if that will change the colour.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It can be a different experience painting with paint that has smells and textures because it is made with things that are alive.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We even find that nature has made its own \u201cstripes\u201d and \u201cdots\u201d. \u00a0How did the rock come to have these markings, we wonder? \u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s nothing,\u201d a boy comments.<\/p>\n

Time spent wondering is time well spent! You never know what you\u2019ll discover next!<\/p>\n
