Let’s get started connecting again!<\/p>\n

The Kindergarten children at Stride spent lots of time outside this past week. \u00a0We sat together and sang “good morning” and we played around the school yard. \u00a0One of the first things we noticed were the bees! \u00a0They were flying around us and visiting all the flowers growing in the grass. \u00a0One child recognized a flower that he had seen before. \u00a0Do you know this flower?<\/p>\n

Dandelions are everywhere! \u00a0They are not poisonous (Yes! You can eat them!) and there are lots of different ways to play with them.<\/p>\n

Some children wanted to play with the seeds. \u00a0They had different ways of removing them from the flower.<\/p>\n

One child blew the seeds from the flower.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"

Another child waved her hand through it quietly.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"\"

And another held a bunch in her hands and waved them through the air.<\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

We wondered together what we could do with these tiny seeds…<\/p>\n

Planting them seemed like the best idea!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I wonder what we will do with dandelions next time we encounter them?<\/p>\n
