I have been working with our Kingsway South Zone schools these past couple of months and the students are just blowing me away with their creativity.<\/p>\n<p>At Glenwood Elementary, I had a chance to chat to students about the importance of a land acknowledgement. Using words and pictures, Christina Pook&#8217;s grade two class shared why the land is important to them personally, and something they can do to take care of the land.<\/p>\n<p>At Nelson Elementary, Yuri Tsumori and Jennifer Heighton class learned about Coast Salish Art and the elements of designs.
