One day I noticed some young huckleberry bushes just starting to grow and I looked really closely and saw that they had square branches!\u00a0 Can you believe that?\u00a0 Have you ever seen a tree or bush with square branches? so I sat and thought about this for a while and came up with this story:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Story of Huckleberry by Ms. Marianna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To listen to me reading this short story<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sd41-my.sharepoint.com\/:u:\/g\/personal\/e17740_burnabyschools_ca\/EQF3-vB_WepLhvm3p5ykCToBMVr0UReQ2BQu4M215FJqLA?e=bD5sUq\">click here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once upon a time in a magical land Father Wind came and knocked Cedar down.\u00a0 Flying above the forest, Hucklefairy noticed majestic Cedar had fallen on the ground and felt terribly sad.\u00a0 She gently patted Cedar\u2019s bark to comfort him.\u00a0 The warmth from this comfort released the seeds from her heart in a desire to keep life in the forest.\u00a0 From Hucklefairy, Huckleberry was born.\u00a0 A secret gift from Cedar to protect Huckleberry was to have square and grooved branches.\u00a0 This gift allowed Huckleberry strength to endure Father Wind and hope to mature.
