I am a Young Entrepreneur – (Part C) helping others
Responsible business owners help others by donating a portion of their profits to their communities. Think about how your business helped others.
- What organization did you choose to support?
- What does this organization do?
- How do you feel about helping others in this way?
Bc Children’s Hospital. They help sick children my age get better. I feel happy helping sick children.
I chose to support BcCancerSociety. This organization helps people who are struggling with cancer. I feel great because I hate cancer
I chose to support the B.C. Cancer Society because it helps children and adults battle cancer. That small percentage means anything to prevent another death to cancer and bring another victory against cancer.
I believe the B.C. Cancer Society helps people in recovering from cancer and helps people battle cancer to live a healthier life.
I feel okay helping others in this way. $6.00 isn’t going to help someone that much; but it is better than donating nothing. $6.00 can go a long way.
I chose to support the BC Childrens Hospital. They buy stuff like toys and medical things for the hospital. I feel like i’m doing a good deed.
I chose to support BC Cancer Society because my mom is a cancer survivor and I want to help people that are suffering from cancer too. (like Ms. Kwok!) BC Cancer Society collects donations to research about cancer and try to make a cure. I feel happy to help others in this way because there are children and adults in need of a cure and although it’s little, it’s better than nothing.
I chose to support the BC Cancer Society because this organization works to prevent cancer/does research to find a cure, supports patients and families, and they also improve cancer care in BC! Another reason is because cancer leads to approximately 10 million people around the world to pass, and that’s really disappointing. I feel satisfied because atleast I am donating $14, I agree with Kelsey that donating a little
“better than nothing”!
I chose the BC Children’s Hospital.
The organization helps with sick children.
I feel happy helping people.
I chose to support the food bank by donating 5 dollars. Me and Israa will donate 10 dollars together because the website says the minimum is 10 dollars.
The food bank helps provide starving/ poor people with food for free. They also provide other necessities like hygiene products and baby products.
I feel like I am adding a cup of water into the vast Atlantic Ocean. I am still donating something, and I could give someone lunch, so for that, I am proud I can help the people in need.
I chose to support BC Children’s Hospital. This organization supports ill or injured children. It makes me feel good to know that I’m helping those poor kids.
I chose to support The Greater Vancouver Food Bank with Vicky. We are each going to donate $5 dollars and gather them together to turn it into $10.
This organization provides healthy, fresh, and nutritious foods directly to those people in need. I feel great about helping others in this way.
I am glad there is such a thing as a food bank to help those that need it like families and individuals. Just a couple of dollars can be a whole family’s dinner.
I chose Food Banks BC. The Food Banks BC helps by by collecting, storing, and redistributing food to individuals and families. Even though I donated “some” money, I felt nothing while donating it.
I was planning on donating to BC Children’s Hospital.
BC Children’s hospital helps sick and ill children.
I feel happy about helping, because sick children also deserve help, and care.
I chose to support my church . I am going to donate $1.00.
I will help the church give to others.
I feel good about this because i give to the church.
I choose to support the Make-A-Wish foundation and I will donate 5 dollars.
the Make-A-Wish foundation grants wishes (not any) to kids with terrible illness and replacing fear with joy.
I’m glad to help out kids in need.
I am going to make a donation to the BCSPCA.
The BCSPCA looks after and cares for animals. I like animals, especially dogs.
I feel happy about donating because BCSPCA helps animals.
I choose to donate to the school. By donating to the school it helps go towards new school supplies, field trips and more! I feel good about donating to the school because this helps fund for kids going to the school next year, even if it isn’t much I hope it makes a difference.
I chose to support Food Banks BC with my friend. I will donate more than $10 because I couldn’t donate less than $10. This organization helps many children and families have access to important nutrition and healthy meals. I feel proud about myself helping others so more people can be happy and spend good life.

Q1. I chose to support and donate to SPCA because I have a really deep appreciation for animals and I’m really passionate about them because a lot of the time, people don’t value animals as much as they should, so I really want to support them more. I also rarely support and donate to pet/animal shelters so I decided to choose SPCA.
: )
Q2. This organization stands for the “Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals”. SPCA enforces animal cruelty laws, operates shelters for lost or surrendered animals, providing veterinary and spay/neuter services, and leading animal advocacy and education.
Q3. I feel empathetic for animals that are getting abused because no living creature deserves to get abused in any way including physical abuse, neglect, emotional abuse, or sexual abuse. I feel good about giving to them and supporting them for this reason. Even though a couple dollars isn’t going to do too much, I still think it’s better than nothing.
I will donate $2 to the school. I think they use the money for schools supplies and fieldtrips. Even though I’m donating only $2 dollars, I feel proud. I also don’t feel proud and not want to donate because $2 isn’t even going to do anything big.
1. The organization I chose is BC Children’s Hospital since it provides important care for children and teens. I chose this organization because donating and supporting this organization is really meaningful and has a significant impact on the future of these children. It directly helps kids who are going through really serious health situations. 🙂
2. BC Children’s Hospital is a specialized hospital that focuses on supporting infants, children, and teenagers across BC.
3. I feel like helping others in this way is meaningful because it supports kids around my age and who are seriously ill and supporting this organization gives them a better chance at recovery. It also feels important to contribute to something that helps families and the community. I feel pretty happy and proud to help in this way. 🙂
