Award related to a topic on New Westminster History \u2013 How did the Great Depression Affect Canadian History? \u2013 By: Arielle Fok<\/p>\n

Award related to a topic relevant to Burnaby History \u2013 Immigration in Canada by Zack Kolb & Owen Kai<\/p>\n

Award based on a topic focusing on Indigenous Culture and Practice \u2013 Indigenous Art and Cultural Traditions \u2013 Marlowe Cote and Breton DeCoste<\/p>\n

Award related to veteran\u2019s history \u2013 How did World War II affect Canada and how does it impact us now? \u2013 Emma Jozic and Aika Mo (Vivian)<\/p>\n

Award based on labour history and social justice \u2013 How did the Chinese Communities in Canada affect \/ influence Canada\u2019s Development? \u2013 Andrea Chiu and Jasmine Chan<\/p>\n

Visitor\u2019s Choice Award – What was Canada\u2019s Role in WWI \u2013 Isidoro Vitiello & Nakita D.<\/p>\n

Visitor\u2019s Choice Award \u2013 La Bousculade de Calgary (The Calgary Stampede) \u2013 Billy Gray<\/p>\n

Visitor\u2019s Choice Award \u2013 Insulin \u2013 Moana Baek<\/p>\n

And then the big announcement!!! \u00a0Two projects from Aubrey Elementary were chosen to go on to the Provincial Heritage Fair \u2013 as Provincial Fair Delegates!<\/p>\n
