{"id":533,"date":"2024-05-26T19:34:37","date_gmt":"2024-05-27T02:34:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/silvad\/?p=533"},"modified":"2024-05-26T19:34:37","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T02:34:37","slug":"exciting-video-of-candling-on-day-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/silvad\/2024\/05\/26\/exciting-video-of-candling-on-day-9\/","title":{"rendered":"Exciting Video of Candling on Day 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Hi Div. 8 and families,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">I have some exciting news.\u00a0 Yesterday was Day 9 for the eggs that I have at home in the incubator, and Day 8 for the eggs we have in the classroom.\u00a0 I have a video to share today of the C<strong>andling<\/strong> I did last night as I was checking on our eggs to see if they were growing.\u00a0 <strong><em>Candling is the process of shining light through the air cell of an egg checking for the development inside an incubated egg.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In the video you will see Egg #9.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\"><strong>Notice the following while watching the video:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">-T<strong>he blood vessels<\/strong> -red lines going towards the center that resembles a red spiderweb.\u00a0 These red blood vessels and veins are connected to the yolk and Albumin(egg white), and are responsible for absorbing the nutrients for the embryo to grow and develop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">-The <strong>embryo<\/strong> outline (looks like a bean shape)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'comic sans ms', sans-serif;\">-The <strong>black dot<\/strong> on the embryo, which is the eye.
