Thanks for everyone that completed the CORE COMPETENCIES STUDENT REFLECTIONS last Friday.\u00a0 If you need to still complete it, please hand it in and submit it on MS TEAMS by today (if possible).\u00a0 The CORE COMPETENCIES STUDENT REFLECTIONS need to be completed &#8211; it is mandatory.\u00a0 It is different than the STUDENT THOUGHTS AND REFLECTIONS that we did the previous week.\u00a0 Remember, that TOMORROW is our CLASS MEETING from 11:00 to 11:30.\u00a0 We will be sharing at least one aspect of our culture.\u00a0 It can be a favourite celebration, favourite food, or a type of art, etc.\u00a0 Please come prepared.\u00a0 Here\u2019s today\u2019s schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CORE COMPETENCIES STUDENT REFLECTIONS \u2013 Please complete this reflection by TODAY. It shouldn\u2019t take you too long, but you do need to reflect about the CORE COMPETENCIES that we have done. This is mandatory and needs to be completed. Upload your reflections onto MS TEAMS. Thanks.<\/li>\n<li>PE WITH JOE or JUST DANCE videos \u2013 Choose between PE WITH JOE or choosing JUST DANCE videos. If you have some other exercise that you found online, then do that. Try your best to get your 20 minutes of exercise every morning.\u00a0 Drink plenty of water and take breaks when needed.<\/li>\n<li>RAZ KIDS \u2013 Continue with some RAZ KIDS today. Do RAZ KIDS for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>POETRY \u2013 Just in case you don\u2019t know, Ms. Driussi is leaving Suncrest at the end of this year. So, I think it would be really nice if all of you created an acrostic poem using Ms. Driussi.\u00a0 Let\u2019s hand this acrostic assignment in on WEDNESDAY.\u00a0 Upload it to MS TEAMS. Thanks.<\/li>\n<li>POETRY \u2013 If you haven\u2019t completed your POETRY PPT PROJECT, please work on it. Create a PPT based on the poems that you have learned:\u00a0 acrostic, alliteration creature, cinquain, haiku, and limerick.\u00a0 For the acrostic poem, you can choose whatever topic you want to write about.\u00a0 For the alliteration creature poem, you can create a new alliteration creature poem, a brand new alliteration poem, or use the same one that you prepared already.\u00a0 Read the instructions for the PPT on MS TEAMS.\u00a0 The due date was last FRIDAY, JUNE 12<sup>TH<\/sup>. \u00a0Have fun creating it!<\/li>\n<li>MATH \u2013 Today, work on questions from IXL for 30 minutes. Grade 4s, I want you to work on ESTIMATE SUM AND DIFFERENCES OF DECIMALS. These questions are still using the basic idea of how to add or subtract with decimals.\u00a0 If you make any mistakes while doing the questions, please read the corrections provided to you by IXL carefully. \u00a0Grade 5s, the questions that I want you to do is MULTIPLY MONEY AMOUNTS:\u00a0 WORD PROBLEMS. Again, if you make any mistakes while doing the questions, please read the corrections provided to you by IXL carefully.<\/li>\n<li>MATH \u2013 Today, I also want you to spend 25 minutes playing games on COOL MATH 4 KIDS. Try the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division games.<\/li>\n<li>SS\/CE \u2013 if you still have to complete your FAMILY CULTURAL PROJECT, please work on it. The instructions to the assignment have been uploaded to MS TEAMS.\u00a0 The due date for the FAMILY CULTURAL PROJECT was last FRIDAY, JUNE 12.\u00a0 This is supposed to be a fun and educational assignment to learn about your own culture.\u00a0 It is a great time for family discussions and to learn about family history together.\u00a0 You can call or video chat with grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins to gain more knowledge if possible.<\/li>\n<li>PRACTICE TYPING with Dance Mat typing or if you found a website that you like, then you can use it. If you have completed Dance Mat, you can redo it for now. Practicing for 20 minutes everyday will help you get better at typing.<\/li>\n<li>MUSIC \u2013 Please remember to check Fletcher\u2019s blog for updates.
