{"id":1727,"date":"2021-03-07T16:35:57","date_gmt":"2021-03-07T16:35:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/shusterl\/?p=1727"},"modified":"2021-03-07T16:35:57","modified_gmt":"2021-03-07T16:35:57","slug":"week-22-march-8th-12th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/shusterl\/week-22-march-8th-12th\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 22: March 8th &#8211; 12th"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Families,<\/p>\n<p>As we approach our much-needed Spring Break, we would like to begin to explore our unit on Life Sciences through Spuds in Tubs (growing potatoes!). <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">On\u00a0Thursday, March 11<sup>th<\/sup>, w<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-CA\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">e will be meeting as a K\/1 community all together with the other classes. We will be planting our Spuds in Tubs live<\/span><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-CA\">This week the children will also be invited to grow their own potato in water and\u00a0<\/span>keeping track of how their potato changes or grows over the break.<\/p>\n<p>Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activity this week will involve making a trap for the Leprechaun and the enjoying activities that are associated with St. Patrick\u2019s Day.
