I am looking forward to learning together this month!\u00a0 Our focus for February will be the heart.\u00a0 How can we take care of our heart?\u00a0 How can we take care of others’ hearts?\u00a0 How can we show friendship, kindness and love to our friends and our families?<\/p>\n
Tuesday this week is Groundhog day!\u00a0 We will predict if the Groundhog sees their shadow and think about shadows in a playful and wonderful way!<\/p>\n
This week we will introduce a mini unit on concepts of time.\u00a0 Please note:<\/span><\/span> c<\/span><\/span>hildren at this age are not expected to tell time,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0although they may be able to\u00a0<\/span>using<\/span> strategies like calendars, clocks, timers and alarm clocks!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Don\u2019t forget! Small groups have been canceled for the next two weeks. I will be meeting one on one with each student. This week I will be doing a literacy check in!
