Math May 19-22

This week’s focus will be on learning about Place Value and about Rounding to the nearest ten.  Please watch the two videos before doing the assigned IXL Math.

Place Value Spinner Game:

Using a pencil and a paper clip, in the middle of the circle,  spin the paper clip using your finger, first on the tens, then on the ones.  Then write down the number you get by putting the two numbers you land on together.  Play the game with a family member: each round, decide if it’s the person with the largest/smallest number who wins. Or try your own game!
