For Gr. 2 Geometry

One of this week’s focus will be on 2D shapes.  Watch this video to learn more about 2D shapes:

Then do IXL Math – 2-S.1-4

Multiple attributes of 2D shapes – IXL

• Name the two-dimensional shape (2-S.1)
• Select two-dimensional shapes (2-S.2)
• Count sides and vertices (2-S.3)
• Compare sides and vertices (2-S.4)

• Compare vertices, edges and faces (2-T.4)
• Identify shapes traced from solids (2-T.5)
• Identify faces of three-dimensional shapes (2-T.6)
