Choir is a wonderful opportunity for students to develop musical skills, build confidence, and be part of a creative team. Although choir is an extracurricular club, students who join are expected to make a full and consistent commitment. We&#8217;re all giving up our lunch to be here so please make our time together count!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Choir Expectations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rehearsal Commitment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Every Tuesday and Friday at lunch 12:20\u201312:55pm between February 10 to April 22 (except on days when school is not in session)<\/li>\n<li>Minimize talking, playing, or socializing during rehearsals<\/li>\n<li>Work as a team, even with people you don\u2019t know well<\/li>\n<li>Food (especially gum) and cell phones are not allowed, please finish your lunch before coming<\/li>\n<li>Extra home practice may be required to know the songs well and memorize the lyrics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Culminating Performance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Burnaby Sings! \u2014 District Intermediate Choir Festival<\/li>\n<li>Burnaby North Secondary School, April 21\u201322 during school hours<\/li>\n<li>A field trip form with more details will be sent out closer to the date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Choir!
