What do you notice about this map?
I hope you all enjoyed a nice long weekend! This week we will focus on Chapters 9 & 10 in our Read Aloud. Think about the continent where William grew up and perhaps draw a similar map of the continent where you are currently growing up. What is our continent and what countries does it include? How many countries are on the continent of Africa?

Can you explain the data in this pictograph?
What does each tile equal? What could you label the middle row? How can you explain the results?

Would you rather choose Prodigy Math or Shapeville?
If Division 6 worked on a similar schedule and Ms. Taylor-Gibbs gave you all a choice to begin our day with Prodigy Math or Shapeville Activities? What would you choose? Please add your choice to the comments today and maybe add in a reason why. Please bring your name in moves to the zoom party today 1:30🤸🏽♀️

Are you ready to spell your name through movements?
We are focusing on exercise in our Zoom class this week (Thursday) and here is a fun site with a few ideas. Please practice spelling your name and a new way and come ready to share it tomorrow. What’s your name — an alphabet of movement instead of sound. Ms. T.G. is busy meeting with each family to be prepared for our assessment of term 3. Please check Teams Calendar and only go to your meeting. Thank you! Continue working on your Shapeville booklet Activities 1-15 and make you Shapeville too.

would you like to book a family meeting?
A family meeting is when student, parents and teachers have a private meeting to share current work, ask questions, and review what your child needs right now. Please contact Ms. T.G. by email to arrange a meeting for today or a time that works for your family. No need to comment on this blog. Please continue working on Time Capsule, Prodigy Math, and Shapeville.

The decorative skull provides stability for a natural structure: a robin’s nest.
When I first noticed the skull with a mossy hat, I was curious and I got close enough to see 3 blue eggs inside. Now I make daily observations, waiting for the eggs to hatch. Birds are excellent builders. Have you ever found a natural structure? Looking forward to rapping with you today at 10:30 or 1:30 please bring have paper and pencil ready for writing down some ideas.
