Today, I will be talking about extreme environments. 

Antarctica & The Coldest Town on Earth

Antarctica has lots of snow, icebergs, and glaciers. But Antarctica does not only have all that. It has living animals like penguins, whales,  leopard seals and so much more. Did you know that some scientists are learning about how the animals survive in this extreme environment?  

We also learned about the coldest town on Earth, Yakutia which is in Siberia!  Check out the video to learn more!

Space

Now that we have talked a bit about Antarctica, let us start talking about Space. 

Space can be remarkably interesting to some, but it can be extremely dangerous. There are black holes and white holes. There is little oxygen and it has zero gravity. 

Space has lots of planets. This is the order of the planets: the Sun goes first then Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.  

Here are some facts about the planets: Did you know that one million Earths can fit inside the sun? Did you know that one hour on Earth is 0.0026 seconds in space? On Saturn it rains diamonds! *That is so cool! * Did you know that Space is completely silent? Would you like to live somewhere that is completely silent? Let us know in the comments!
