I seem to have adopted a 4 month old Peach-faced Green. We are it’s second family and it still needs a lot of training. I realize after day 4 that I have basically bought a puppy. But the level of care and interest for our little friend that I see from the students makes it all worth while. For example, while Bailey was taking a nap today you could have heard a pin drop. No one wanted to disturb it. They were whispering if they needed to talk, tip-toeing around the class, and sliding themselves out of their chairs so as not to scrape the floor. If anyone is interested in doing a study on how vulnerable animals affect the dynamic of a classroom I will happily offer up my class.<\/p>\n We were bit by the Lovebird bug.
