Please welcome Bailey Green
We were bit by the Lovebird bug.
I seem to have adopted a 4 month old Peach-faced Green. We are it’s second family and it still needs a lot of training. I realize after day 4 that I have basically bought a puppy. But the level of care and interest for our little friend that I see from the students makes it all worth while. For example, while Bailey was taking a nap today you could have heard a pin drop. No one wanted to disturb it. They were whispering if they needed to talk, tip-toeing around the class, and sliding themselves out of their chairs so as not to scrape the floor. If anyone is interested in doing a study on how vulnerable animals affect the dynamic of a classroom I will happily offer up my class.

Bye Ollie
Very sad to say that we found Ollie’s home this morning and he was fetched by his Birdie Daddy after recess. Though he put up a heck of a battle and seemed quite comfortable sticking around.
Apparently his real name is Mr. Bird and he has a mate waiting for him back home. So we wish him well.
Well done for the rescue Division 4.

We have a beautiful and distracting visitor in our class right now. We’re looking for their owner and for that reason won’t post any photos yet. Feel free to pop by and meet them.
