Dear Strongstart Families,<\/p>\n

Well here we are two seasons later, the first day of<\/p>\n

Autumn of the 20\/21 school year is upon us.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I hope you were able to relax and enjoy the summer with your<\/p>\n

Family staying Safe and Healthy!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I was honored to help out with Kindergarten gradual entry<\/p>\n

the last 2 weeks. I am Truly impressed with the hand washing<\/p>\n

skills the Children have acquired over your time together!<\/p>\n

Great job Mom’s and Dad’s and to All who have taught this<\/p>\n

important life saving\u00a0 skill to a child, KEEP MODELING THIS!!!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year continues to be a roller-coaster of uncertainties with<\/p>\n

many changes and unknowns.<\/p>\n

Please Stay Calm and take care of yourselves and Each other!<\/p>\n

We Will get through this Together!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Everyone is wondering, When will Strongstart open?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here is the message from the School District:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In September 2020, Burnaby Strongstart BC programs<\/p>\n

will continue to engage in outreach to Families via e-mail<\/p>\n

phone calls and offering Strongstart services online.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is currently no in person Strongstart BC<\/strong><\/p>\n

in Burnaby Schools.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are looking at a variety of options that will enable us<\/p>\n

to offer in-person Strongstart BC\u00a0 programs.<\/p>\n

Programs will be at a reduced capacity that are<\/p>\n

consistent with stage 2 of the K-12 Restart plan.<\/p>\n

“Reduced capacity” means\u00a0 that we will limit the<\/p>\n

number of Families attending to maintain safe physical distancing.<\/p>\n

We will reduce the number of hours per day and\/or days per week<\/p>\n

of Strongstart BC operations to accommodate cleaning and disinfecting protocols.<\/p>\n

Please continue to visit our website for the latest updates.<\/p>\n

We look forward to when we can welcome you back in person!<\/p>\n

I am looking forward to connecting with you All again!<\/p>\n

Starting September 21st, I will be back to support you remotely.<\/p>\n
