The story is about a young girl who had been sold into servitude, by her own mother! In the last part of the story, we&#8217;ll find out about the superpower the pirates want from her. [Grace Lin is also the author of<em> Where the Mountain Meets the Moon<\/em>, which some of you may have read from our classroom library shelf.
