The question was \u201cWhat is an important thing that workers [the people who build houses, etc.] should wear?\u201d, the people who answered this correctly and quickly got a \u201chard hat\u201d as a prize.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I really liked seeing the miniature models of buildings. (How cute!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We got to see a building in progress (from inside the bus)!! Andrew, a worker from the Beedie Group, showed us big piles of sand called preloads. The preloads were used to compress the soil. We also got to see a bunch of workers lift a concrete wall using a crane. It was very cool!!<\/p>\n<p>It was also an honour meeting Mr. Beedie, the founder of the Beedie group. We got to see his office (which had lots of models of planes, a treadmill and a TV).<\/p>\n<p>I think it was very generous of the Beedie group to give us a free pizza lunch!! Thank you!
