First, because sometimes there are things\/people that <strong>look<\/strong> good (beautiful), but are not always good. You could look pretty on the outside (looks good), but you could actually be mean (not good).<\/p>\n<p>Second, there are other quotes that say everyone is beautiful, so why would the quote say that if you do good, you will soon be beautiful? Aren&#8217;t you already beautiful? I guess it depends on what &#8220;beautiful&#8221; means to you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The April precept is: What is beautiful is good, who is good will soon be beautiful.
