December 11, 2015. Week 1:<\/b><\/p>\n
We are starting our Inquiry project today! Finally, I was waiting a long time for this! For my Inquiry I am going to be doing a project about the Ocean and its unique fish. I even might study some of them in the wild! I’m not kidding, though I won\u2019t be going diving, I can still go snorkelling, and my dad (who is a diver) can help me with his underwater cameras that he has. I think I’m prepared enough.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n December 18, 2015. Week 2:<\/b><\/p>\n I decided to change my Inquiry from the present day ocean to the prehistoric ocean. Today I had learned a lot regarding a prehistoric sea creature that had lived during the Triassic period called Thalattoarchon Saurophagis, \u00a0and a little about Tanystropheus. The sources I had used where Listverse and Wikipedia. I used \u00a0Listverse to get the names of the creatures i wanted to study, while using Wikipedia to find out a bit more about the creature.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n December 29, 2015. Week 3:<\/b><\/p>\n This week I finished the first section of my Individual inquiry, \u201cThe Triassic period\u201d, and with that I\u2019m starting the new section, \u201cThe Jurassic period.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n January 10, 2016. Week 4:<\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m halfway done on the jurassic period, but I can’t find find anymore creatures in the ocean during the Jurassic period. I\u2019ve literally scoured the internet and I can’t find anymore information, let alone creatures. I think I might have to start the next period and come back to this.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n January 19, 2016. Week 5:<\/b><\/p>\n I started working on the next period, \u201cThe Cretaceous period.\u201d Now from what I have seen there’s a lot of information so I shouldn\u2019t get bored like the Jurassic period bored me.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n January 27, 2016. Week 6:<\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019m halfway done in the Cretaceous period and I\u2019ve got to say I\u2019ve learned some interesting things like the fact that there are predators who can grow to the size of 40 feet and even 50 and that some of the predators ate rocks to use them for ballast or digestion, but that is still a debate.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n February 4, 2016. Week 7:<\/b><\/p>\n I decided to take a little break for this week since i\u2019m almost done, and we still have about a month before the Inquiry fair.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n February 10, 2016. Week 8:<\/b><\/p>\n I finished working on the Cretaceous period, but now I\u2019m not sure what I should do next, but I think I have an idea, and that idea is\u2026 Next entry!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n February 18, 2016. Week 9:<\/b><\/p>\n My idea is is to put together my favorite predators\/sharks\/fish from all of the periods\/eras, and the reason I want to do i want to do this is because if I would\u2019ve gathered more information, it\u2019s probably going to be from all sorts of different periods\/eras, at least from what I have seen, and if I put one period\/era on the list and barely put any information, what\u2019s the point?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n February 26, 2016. Week 10:<\/b><\/p>\n I\u2019ve had a bit of trouble trying to work for this week because of a few things, but now I\u2019m free and I can go back to doing work. Now, I already have 5, if not six, predators on my list that I like, but I\u2019m still looking for more, but so far none of these fish are ones I like. My guess is that the good ones are hiding because they have bigger <\/span>fish <\/b>to fry (I\u2019m so sorry\u2026).<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" December 11, 2015.
