My class and I had the honor of getting to see (and touch) a bunch of ocean animals with the Aquavan. It was pretty cool.
I’m honestly horrified of the ocean. We don’t know even half of what’s going on down there. But getting to see the creatures gave me small, itty, bitty, tiny, microscopic change of heart.
They were still mysterious, disgusting, and weird but it made me think. What do animals think of us? Are they actually as scared of us as we are of them? If we stopped polluting the ocean, would it help us find more species of things? I thought of these questions for a while but could never find an answer that made sense in words. All I know is that we need to go with the idea I bring up really often. We all need to cooperate. Everyone says they’re gonna help the ocean and such. But how? Talking to your friends about it? Last time I checked you have to do things if you want them to happen.
Here’s an example.
Do you want to help people without enough food?
Then try and start a food bank and donate it to the hundreds of charity that exist.
If you want to help save animals I’ll put in links to a few charities. WWF, Sea Turtles, Save the seals
