My Alliteration

Hi world so my class were learning about a type of poetry called alliteration. We were assigned to make an alliteration poem, here is mine.

My unusual family

My brother buys buttery popcorn

My sister sits somewhere near my mom when going to the movies

My cousin likes cats that are cuddly and cute

My grandpa gets greedy when he gets the remote

My grandma goes shopping to get some ingredients

My aunt likes eating apples in the afternoon

My uncle likes Uno while watching sumo

My Mom makes my meals while watching maleficent

My Dad does the dishes while dancing

And I eat Ice cream while I Ice skate and put icing a cake

My Alliteration Poem!

Our class has read some of Kenn Nesbitt’s poems and we decided to make alliteration poems so here is mine.

Dad likes to do driving
While i’m in the pool diving
And my sister is doing daily dances at the disco.
My mom in the distance reads the dictionary.
And by day break,
 despite the dexterous, talents,
we dance like spinning planets.
Doing dishes, with water everywhere
I still have nothing to declare

I hope you like it!

My Alliteration poem

Today we were writing alliteration poems (some rhyming). To get the idea of alliteration rhyming poems we looked at Kenn Nesbitt called “Perfect”, “Swimming Ool”, “December 26”, and “Willie’s Wart”. The letter I choose for my poem was G. Here is my poem:

Gerry the Giraffe

By Mikayla

Gerry the giraffe likes to eat berries.

But when he eats a berry, he gets very hairy!

Gerry the giraffe likes to play games,

because George the goose is very much the same.

Gerry is glad when his friends aren’t mad.

But when his are friends are sad,

He rolls in the green, glowing, grass,

His friends giggling grin is delicate like glass.

I hope you liked my poem!
