We also saw sea urchin, sea anemone, sea stars, and we were able to touch Arctic fox fur. If you touch the sea urchin you will have spines of the sea urchin.

Facts about Spider Crabs can be found in the fresh waters they have long leg and will hurt you. The largest spider crab was about 3.8 meters or 12 ft from claw to claw weighing up to 41 pounds or about 19 kg

 

Facts about sea urchins has spines that might be poisonous you have to use tweezers to pull them out or you can go to the hospital to get them pulled out they also move slow and feed on algae   

 

Facts about sea anemone rome around in groups they don’t move and if you touch one they have tentacles that sting people that’s not good

 

Facts about sea stars are naturally in the bc coast line and they really don’t move like the sea anemone anemone have stinging tentacles and starfish have suction cups

 

Facts about arctic fox the arctic fox is white and live in the arctic that’s there called the arctic fox they have the warmest pelt in the arctic

The aqua van marine was invited to our school and each class was invited to go sea urchins  then it was our class to go down and see the sea urchins. we so all kinds  of searches we got to touch them some of them were ,gross, slimy, and rough. I, learned that global warming was killing half of  the fish in the ocean.did you know that  starfish can come in different kinds they can come slimy and rough did you know that you can eat jellyfish row or not row but did you know that jellyfish can still sting you when they are dead.

On February 7 2017 we got the honoured to get to see the aqua van (Vancouver Aquarium).All classes got to go see the Aqua van in the gym,Our class and Div 4 got to go at the same time.I learned lots of things from the Aqua van and got to see and touch sea anemones,sea urchins,star fishes and crabs.We also got to see and touch skulls of animals,some were real some were models an Orca’s fin,stuffed animals of sea creatures,a model of a sea anemone and an Arctic wolf’s fur.We got to see a giant map of all of the Arctic,we learned about global warming,how it’s going to affect us,the animals in the Arctic and the people that live on the Arctic. The instructor told us not to use a lot of plastic to try and stop global warming.
