Last Wednesday on April 27th we went to the Beedie construction site and the Beedie development group. First we went to the construction site and saw builders building. A worker was with us and he talked about the pre-loads and what they had been doing. After that we went to the Beedie development group. It’s and office were they design the buildings. At the office we met Mr. Beedie, the guy who started the company. Some kids got hard hats as prizes. We saw designs of building on paper, and we saw little models of buildings. In the lobby we saw a slideshow of different buildings. At lunch we had pizza in the training room. Across the training room was a gym. We saw people working out. We went in Mr. Beedie’s office and saw plane flight awards and pictures and even a tread climber. We looked on his computer and saw buildings. We even saw the construction workers working.

Bard On The Beach Reflection
On Monday we had a Shakespeare workshop come to our class and what I really liked about it was the fact that we got to interact and do fun activities unlike some workshops where you just listen and we didn’t just do one activity, we did 3 activities. The first one was where we had to say our line on a piece of paper and throw a ball to another person. Second, we had to shape our partner into what they would look like if they were saying a certain line, and what I particularly liked about that part was how I could sculpt my statue into whatever I wanted, and once we were done we could go around to other sculptures and they have to say what their lines were. And the third was where we (again) had to say our lines from a paper and then the next person had to say their lines and so forth until we all finished saying our lines. All in all I enjoyed this workshop and it was a lot of fun.
April precept
April precept: What is beautiful is good, and what is good will soon be beautiful.
what i think this precept means is people who are already rewarded is great and good. And people that have been patient is good and have been reward. like in the book, the main character, August who is deformed. But he is still good and loves science. he loves his family and is loved by them as well.
He was home schooled in till grade five. when he goes to school, he start slow but in the end. he became very popular. Just like the precept. What is good will soon be beautiful. So August is the perfect example for this precept!
inquiry project!
Last term my inquiry project was about the moon because I thought it was a mystery for me and there was all lot of cool facts about the moon.THANK YOU FOR READING.
April Precept
“What is beautiful is good, and who is good will soon be beautiful” is the April precept and I feel like it’s judging who you are that if you are good you are beautiful but people that have “weird” faces are amazing not most of them but around the world so called “ugly” people are doing amazing things and this precept is saying their not this is not the real world, in the real world everyone is beautiful no one is ugly or so called weird and no one is bullied and or judged.
I think that the precept means that if you are good you are beautiful and that is so wrong! Everyone is different everyone isn’t beautiful how everyone wants it everyone wants life perfect but that is never going to happen never ever going to happen because life is just an endless loop of life and death and when we have a beautiful perfect world we would probably all be dead until everyone is dead and earth goes back to the perfect green place that it is and there is no more global warming that’s the beautiful world and this precept is deep very very deep (deep as in goes to far)
