VSO reflection

On the day of the masquerade, I was a bit nervous but also excited. I was nervous because I might’ve played the wrong note on recorder or something like that, but in the end it turned out alright. my favourite part about the masquerade was being able to dress up in fancy clothes and wearing masks because it made me feel fancy.

Another one of my favourite parts was when we got to decorate our on masks. There wre four different colours, Red, Blue, Silver, and Gold. My mask was blue, I decorated my mask with feathers, sequins, and glitter. for the masquerade I wore a hi-lo hemline dress, black boots and I curled my hair as well! After we played recorder, we danced to Mozart then hip-hop then Mozart the hip-hop.

It was interesting to dance to a song that had hip-hop and classical music together.

  1. I wonder what Mozart would think about his music in a hip-hop mash-up. Maybe it’s a cheap question to ask, since we can only speculate, but it’s interesting to imagine. I’m not sure what his opinion about it would be, but I bet he’d be able to do some amazing work with today’s music styles!
