I’m Ms. McCann, and I’ll be your Grade 5/6 teacher this year. I’m thrilled to meet each of you and start this exciting adventure together!

As the Head Teacher at Suncrest, I’ll be out of the classroom on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons for office duties. During these times, Mr. Cheung will be your other teacher. He’ll be teaching you Science, ADST, and PE this year, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy learning from him.

In our class, we’ll explore new subjects, take on fun projects, and work together to make this year fantastic. I believe learning should be both exciting and enjoyable, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

This year, we’ll dive into creative writing, passion projects, and exciting math challenges, among many other things. I can’t wait to hear about your interests and what you’re most excited to learn!

A little about me: I love traveling to warm places and I’m a big Canucks fan! I’m really looking forward to getting to know you and discovering all the unique things that make our class special.
