After going for progressively longer walks over the course of several weeks since Spring Break, Division 6 was ready to hike and hike we did!!<\/p>\n<p>We left Friday morning right after attendance to set out on many familiar trails, and onto some new ones, too. Our route took us:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Out along the Stoney Creek Trail behind the school<\/li>\n<li>Up the North Road Trails and left to Powerline Trail<\/li>\n<li>Further up Powerline Trail to the Trans-Canada Trail<\/li>\n<li>Trans-Canada Trail to Mel&#8217;s Trail<\/li>\n<li>Mel&#8217;s Trail to Upper Gear Jammer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We celebrated at the top with some Timbits, and promptly headed back down as it was windy and a bit chilly at the top of the mountain! Our route back was a little more direct down Gear Jammer to Upper Cut, then down Function Junction where we retraced the rest of the route back to the school.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, a 12 km hike, according to my FitBit!
