Wow! I can hardly believe we are only two weeks away from the end of our school year together. It seems like only yesterday that we first met each other. When I think back to our time together, I will always remember all of the good laughs we had in class, the Canada 150 concert, our field trip to Britannia Mine, and all of that snow that fell. It was a cold year for sure! I am so very thankful for all of the hard work you put into your learning, your perseverance and effort to make yourselves better people. I hope it is something that you will keep on doing next year and for the rest of your lives. I also hope that you made new friends this year, got to know someone you didn’t before, joined a club or sport, were a good role model to your little buddy, and enjoyed your time in our class.<\/p>\n

This summer, I am looking forward to being with my fami\"\"<\/a>ly and spending time in the great outdoors. If the weather cooperates, I will be at the park, by the pool, bike riding and hiking in the woods. Of course, I will be celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday somewhere in the city, maybe even downtown. My good friend and her husband from Montreal will be here in town for a visit. I haven’t seen her in 13 years so there is a lot for us to catch up on!<\/p>\n
