The end of the school year is coming to a close, and I am sure that your must all be very excited. I have mixed emotions at this time of the year. On the one hand, I am looking forward to the summer and spending more time with my family, but on the other hand, I am a little forlorn because I won’t see you all on a day-to-day basis. Mrs. Bennett, Ms. Poznanovich and I have really enjoyed teaching you all this year, and we have many fond memories of the year. One thing that stands out to me is April Fools Day when I tricked you all in telling you that the school year would be extended. I also think back to our novel, Music of Dolphins, because the story taught us a lot about acceptance, being yourself and helping others. I think our class really embraced all of those ideas as we came together, worked together and learned from each other. What about you? What was one of the highlights of the year for you?
