Class Charter

How do you want to feel everyday at school?
How can we make these feelings happen?
What can we do when someone is feeling uncomfortable in our class?

These are the questions that we have been brainstorming to think about how we can be when we are together. All of your ideas are in our Class Charter that we will use to help guide our actions and our responses to each other. Thinking about how we want to feel and how we want others to feel may prompt us to make choices that we are proud of.  Always ask yourself, “What kind of person do I want to be?” One that brings people up or one that brings people down?

Rights and Responsibilities

Here are the Rights and Responsibilities That you agreed upon for our class, division four, this year. As citizens of our class and Montecito School, we are entitled to these rights, and we all have a responsibility to make sure everyone’s rights are honoured and protected.

Diversity

Different Individuals Valuing Each other Regardless of Skin, Intellect, Talents or Years.

I hope these potatoes remind you of what diversity means and who we all are inside, not on the outside.  We are all human beings who have feelings and who deserve to be treated with fairness.  WE ARE ALL POTATOES!
