{"id":406,"date":"2018-04-05T19:45:44","date_gmt":"2018-04-06T02:45:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/loungsayf\/?p=406"},"modified":"2018-04-05T19:52:56","modified_gmt":"2018-04-06T02:52:56","slug":"ruler-and-the-importance-of-emotions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/loungsayf\/2018\/04\/05\/ruler-and-the-importance-of-emotions\/","title":{"rendered":"RULER and the Importance of Emotions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The RULER program has become an integral part of our social and emotional learning.&nbsp; As we are always trying to find better ways to help our children solve conflicts, we hope that teaching these skills can help them to better understand and manage their emotions.&nbsp; This is what RULER stands for:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-407 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/sd41blogs.ca\/loungsayf\/files\/2017\/04\/Ruler_Definition-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"537\" height=\"269\"><\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of the school year, we have been discussing feelings and emotion words.
