Primary Days of Music
Primary Days of Music is a festival held in Burnaby, including students who are in grades 2 and 3 from across the school district. This year, students in Grades 2 and 3 ONLY in Divisions 8, 10 and 12 will be participating in Burnaby School District’s Primary Days of Music. This festival will be held on THURSDAY, MARCH 14th at Marlborough Elementary.
This festival provides a great opportunity for students to learn, sing, and share songs with others. All the students who are attending the festival learn 8 massed pieces to sing with the entire group, as well as two songs sung by each individual school in attendance. Our students have been working very hard on their pieces and are excited to perform!
Due to the large number of students participating in Primary Days of Music and limited space, parents are unable to attend this performance. We are aiming to take an audio recording of our performance at Primary Days, which will be posted here on the music blog.
A notice with detailed information about the event will be sent home with students as more information is available.
